1.Is it fun here at BMS? Heidi - Grade 9 '24

Ever since Year 1, I’ve always felt that BMS is a unique, lively school because of the amazingly positive environment which makes learning enjoyable here. The teachers are supportive and they interact with the students which lights up the spirit of the class.

Each year, BMS holds an exciting event called Beyond Cup, a series of inter-school soccer and basketball matches, which everyone always looks forward to. Students from different schools come here to compete in Beyond Cup. This event is planned and organized solely by the effort of the students (without teachers). Being a part of it provides us, as students, great opportunities to work together as a team.

Like Beyond Cup, every other experience in BMS brings everyone together, and having an enjoyable time is a number one guarantee. Overall, the incredible events, supportive students and the positive atmosphere makes BMS nothing but fun!

2.How hard is it to make a sports team? Andrew - Grade 8 '24

It is not hard to be in a team, whether it is in MS Sport Day, Beyond Cup and any other sports competition outside school. This is possible as long as the students showcase their talent, hard work and their willingness to be part of the BMS team. I believe that BMS teachers constantly give all their students a chance to be part of a team and encouraging their students to be involved in different events that is being held at school or outside school. If the students do not get to participate in one event, there is always another event held by BMS that the students can take part in.

Though academic-wise, it's quite rigorous - with assignments and tests keeping all students busy; teachers are always willing to help us succeed. Classes in the lower levels are extremely exciting, with aspects that make it an enjoyable experience. But as students grow older, certainly it will progressively get harder. What surprise me most about BMS is their community. Unlike other schools, BMS offers a wide variety of events conducted by both students and teachers to keeps the students engaged rather than to bore them in classes.

Of course many new students are afraid of getting accepted by their peers when the move to a new school with a new community. It’s not a worry in BMS! Students here in BMS are friendly, open-minded, and social able. Accepting fellow peers making them have a sense of belonging within the community.

The teachers here in BMS are very much easy to approach and to talk to, offering much help in the subjects your child might find challenging in. You can talk just about anything to them; laugh and even make jokes. Making a fun environment for the students.

6. What's your favorite class and why? Gailson - Grade 8 '24

Math is my favorite class as I am fascinated with the topics and questions given to me. I enjoy the thrill of finding solutions to each problem and seeing if the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Every tough or challenging problem generates a will for me to find the answer. Even though at some point it will eventually be hard enough to make me give up; I will try to relearn and revise the mistakes I made and eventually figure it out. Whether I'm calculating equations or analyzing formulas, I find great satisfaction in the world of Math.
